I'm Hunter Sandy,
a 19-year-old modified driver from New Mexico
Racing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching my dad race, and before long I was helping him work on his cars. That eventually turned into wanting to get behind the wheel myself. I raced my first bomber in 2020 and completed my first full season in 2021.

Since then, I've worked my way through the ranks, moving from a bomber to a B-Mod and then into an A-Mod during the middle of the 2025 season. A big turning point in my career came when I met Tony Mesa. He believed in what I could do, shares the same drive to compete at the highest level, and has given me the opportunity to race with top-tier equipment. None of this has come easy. As a small team, funding is always a challenge, but the support of our sponsors has helped keep us on track and chasing our goals every weekend.
